Your European time management and productivity tool.

Målby is a productivity and time-management app built and operated entirely on European infrastructure, giving you complete peace of mind under the highest privacy and security standards.

During the day, use the Kjør! method to stay laser-focused on your goals... and at night, sit back and relax while expanding your own city.

Built Different.
Proudly European.

Målby is proudly, stubbornly European. We believe in true digital sovereignty. The radical notion that your personal data, your daily habits, and your workflow should reside on infrastructure that actually respects European privacy standards (GDPR and beyond).

If foreign data centers decide to throw a collective tantrum or transatlantic cables get complicated tomorrow, Målby will still be right here, ticking along nicely.

Målby PRO

Everything in Free, plus calendar, notes and tasks sychronization and extra city options

Yes. Målby is engineered as a modern web application, meaning it runs directly in your browser without requiring heavy installations or high-end hardware. Whether you are working on a high-performance desktop workstation, a laptop on the go, or a tablet, Målby adapts smoothly to your screen and workflow.

Because we prioritize lightweight efficiency and data privacy over bloated code, you won't need a massive system footprint to keep your tasks organized and your isometric city growing. If your device has a web browser and an internet connection, you are good to go.

Målby  operates 100% in European Union datacenters, strictly accomplishing GDPR.

Our servers are housed in Europe's largest data centre, located in France, operating under strict GDPR regulations. All communications with the application travel over secure encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS), and the databases are entirely isolated from public access.

For the more technical users: the technology used for production deployment includes an automated pipeline for bundling, deep obfuscation, and minification (Terser), integrated before every release. Furthermore, our Fastify backend enforces strict global security headers (CSP, X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN, X-Content-Type-Options nosniff, X-XSS-Protection, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy) to block vulnerabilities.

No! And in fact, you can rest assured. All your data is strictly anonymised. We only require an email address so we can contact you if necessary. We do not have access to your login, your tasks, your notes... not even your achievements! We will only use your data, should you choose to do so, to process your Målby PRO subscription. No data will ever be stored on any of our servers, let alone be shared anywhere without your consent. Your data remains entirely under your sovereign control and you choose what to do with it at any time in accordance with the GDPR, being able to download it and delete your account with a single, simple click.

For one simple reason: because we can, and because we want to. That is why it will always be free. We are offering a service that we believe can help a great many people organise their time better and use it more productively, whilst simultaneously providing them with a completely reliable, secure, and practical tool.

There is a paid option, of course, because a little extra always sweetens the deal... but the foundation, the heart of the application, the part that needs to work for everyone—the very thing other apps charge you for whilst also trading your data—with us is not only free, it is also secure.

Because someone in the past gave us free tools that helped us grow and progress, we are doing our bit for our generation.

It's very simple: because in order for you to download the app there, we would have to open an account for publishing it, and your data, upon downloading, would pass through insecure non-European infrastructures, and would likely be exposed sooner or later.

This is not a typical app; you don't need to download anything to use it. If transatlantic infrastructures were to ever close their access to European citizens, you could continue using it without any issues: European domain, European platform, European hosting, European infrastructure. This is our strength, and it is your strategic advantage.

We  currently offer several ways for using Målby: web access, PWA and verified signad self-hosted Android app. Choose the one that fits for you. We are planning to build also apps for other platforms, but one step at a time. It's not about rushing, but about doing it properly.

Well, sit back, relax, and enjoy the European way of life. Yes, this is what true freedom tastes like, isn't it marvellous?

Målby is the fusion of the nordic concepts of Mål (Goal) and By (City). "The city of achieved goals". It perfectly defines the spirit of the app: by day, the discipline of your goals (Mål), and by night, the isometric visual reward (by). What's more, it has a clean, bold sound and is pronounced "Mol-bee".

~ Mål (Mol): The Nordic letter "å" sounds just like an "o", round and slightly elongated.
~ by (bee): Although Scandinavians pronounce this "y" with rounded lips forming a "u" (like the French or German "ü"), for practical and commercial purposes in the rest of the world, it is pronounced as a clean, crisp "ee" sound.

So you can call it "Molbee", "Malbee", "Maalby" or whatever you please: you know where we are and that we're going to help you achieve your goals. That’s good enough for us.
